Opportunities to Volunteer

The power of the United Way lies in the combined efforts of its volunteers. You can help by volunteering your time and talent to UWLRC in our campaign, as a community reviewer, or as a volunteer to one of our agencies.

Campaign Volunteer Opportunities

• Be a campaign leader.
• Spearhead your company's United Way campaign.  Motivate, lead and encourage participation.
• Organize a campaign kick-off activity or special fund-raising activity (e.g. Day of Caring, community parade, dance-a-thon, golf tournament, etc.).
• Help stuff envelopes and prepare campaign materials in the United Way office.
• Lend your professional skills and experience as needed.

Allocations - Community Reviewers

• Participate in the annual allocations review process by being a community reviewer.
• Serve on the Allocations committee.

Agencies

• Participate in the functions and activities of an agency
• Become a board member for an agency
